I feel all of the emotions when I look at images from this session. Erica and Stephen have trusted me to take photos of them for various reasons and at different stages in their relationship, and I feel so blessed to have been able to document their time together before welcoming baby Piscitelli into the world. For their before baby session, they let me help choose a location that I felt would give us freedom to create beautiful imagery and they allowed me to gently guide their outfit choices to highlight them in the best ways, but also to let their personal and unique style shine through. We talked and laughed through the whole session, and at the end I thanked them for choosing me to photograph them together before baby P arrives. They responded with “of course we asked you… you’re OUR photographer.” I nearly melted then and there. This is what I love about being a photographer: the trust and openness and connection to make meaningful and lasting art and memories. It’s truly a blessing to have clients as amazing as mine are.
