I was very fortunate last year to meet Kristina Oh of Fleure Studio last year, and to photograph her summer workshop at Phosphene in Fredericksburg. Kristina is truly an artist, and witnessing her teach her craft to others was a beautiful and fulfilling experience.

I normally place the film images I take in a separate folder when I deliver wedding galleries (which I may reconsider after this!), so seeing the film and digital images come together to tell the entire story in this journal post is extra special. Annaliese and Matt are incredibly warm and fun individuals, so their wedding celebration at Common House RVA was a perfect reflection of their personalities and relationship, together. They were married earlier in 2021, so their 2022 winter celebration started the moment they walked in the door for their music-filled cocktail reception, and didn’t end until the final song was played on the dance floor.
