On a crisp and sunny day in November 2018 I spent the morning photographing the Jin family in their beautiful mid-century modern home. I met Julia a couple years ago at the bar studio we both attended, and always thought that she was incredibly sweet and stylish. When I found out that she was expecting, I secretly wished that I could photograph this special time in her family’s life, so I was delighted when she reached out to me and asked that we do a session in their home! Their living room is bright and airy, which created a serene atmosphere and highlighted the love Julia and Jon have for their sweet little Juniper even more. They also have two doodles - Jax and Junior - who are just the most happy and bouncy dogs you’ve ever met! I fell in love with this session because you can just feel the joy and love that this family has for each other.
