A little over a year ago, one of my oldest and dearest friends asked me to take photos of her and her husband to celebrate their December wedding ceremony. I wanted our session to be special, so I contacted one of my favorite farms out in Rixeyville, Virginia - Oak Shade Farm - and arranged a shoot on their property after the Christmas rush. Bryan came with me and we made an afternoon of it - driving to the farm all together, chatting about life and listening to music - and wandered through the evergreens to find the most gorgeous winter light. It was incredibly cold, but you’d never know it looking at Lizzy and Stuart’s faces! The love they feel for each other just oozed out of them and made our shoot so incredibly fun and effortless. We have so many great memories from that afternoon, and we have the photos to prove it!
