I went to Allie’s house on a rainy day in March after reaching out about my project to photograph talented and driven women entrepreneurs. She’s made delicious cakes and pies for friend gatherings that I’ve tasted and is one of the most artistic people I’ve ever met, so I was so glad that she agreed to let me photograph her.

I met Morgan at a DC pop-up market in December where we were both vendors and was immediately drawn to her beautiful handmade bowls, planters, and pitchers that evoke the serenity of a calm cerulean sea and are well-suited for her company name, Waves of Stone.
